I am an artist based in Somerset, creating nature-inspired paintings using watercolour, ink, pen, and pencil. My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the countryside, woodland wildlife, and the gentle moments found in nature.
I have been creating original artwork since 2009, and over the years my paintings have found homes with collectors across the UK and around the world, both online and through galleries.
Through Peppermint Art, I hope to create artwork that brings warmth, calm, and a little sense of wonder into everyday spaces.
Each piece of artwork begins with a love of nature, quiet countryside moments, and the stories that can be found in the world around us. Over time, many of the hares in my paintings have developed personalities of their own, becoming gentle characters inspired by kindness, curiosity, joy, and imagination.
Using layers of watercolour, ink, pen, and pencil, I create expressive paintings designed to bring warmth, softness, and a sense of calm into the home. From peaceful woodland dreamers to colourful free spirits, every painting is created by hand in Somerset and inspired by nature.
I hope each piece brings a little joy, comfort, and wonder to the space it becomes part of.
